Ballast is a necessary electrical component of discharge luminescent device. It can generate instantaneous high voltage when the starter is disconnected, so that the luminescent device starts to emit light, and then limit the current to control within the rated range of the luminescent device.

Energy saving

The lamp's electronic ballast mainly USES the frequency of 20 ~ 60kHz to supply the lamp, which makes the light efficiency of the lamp increase by about 10% compared with the power frequency (according to the length of the lamp is 4 feet), and its own power consumption is low, so that the total input power of the lamp decreases by about 20%, which has better energy saving effect.
