We've all heard of UV-A and UV-B ultraviolet rays: they come from the sun, and they're the reason we have SPF ratings on sunscreen. Less publicly known, but effective in it's own right is the UV-C subsection of the light spectrum.
UV-C is a shorter wave ultraviolet radiation, and it can destroy bacteria, viruses, spores (including C. diff.) and other pathogens in the air, in liquids, or on surfaces. UV-C has been used in germicidal applications since the 1930's.

Lightbest UV manufactures UV germicidal lamps with two types of high-quality fused quartz, including doped fused quartz type and clear fused quartz, which emit different wavelength of UV energy.
Ozone-free (L) lamps, made with doped fused quartz which blocks the transmission of 185nm energy, emit approximately 95% of the ultraviolet energy at the mercury resonance wavelength of 253.7nm. This wavelength is in the region of maximum germicidal effectiveness and is highly lethal to virus, bacteria, protozoa and mold.
Very-High (VH) ozone generating lamps, made with nature clear fused quartz which can transimit of 185 nm and 253.7nm UV energy. 185 nm can not kill bacterial or virus directly, however, it can produce abundant of ozone (O3) from oxygen (O2) in air. Ozone can break cell walls of microbial so that immediately kill microorganism acting as strong oxidizers and deoxidizers.
L+VH joint germicidal lamps can also be customized made at different percentages according to the customers’ specific requirements.
These lamps are in conventional size and shape, operate at standard input power and current, and have standard output power and current.

Disinfection cabinet,microwave oven, air conditioning,air cleaner,and all kinds of household appliances. Also the uv germicidal lamp is commonly used in school,hotel,home,office and other environments for air and surface sterilization.

Approximatly 1/3 of all diamonds have a tendency to fluoresce when exposed to ultra-violet (UV) light. When diamonds are viewed under a UV light-source, they tend to fluoresce as blue or violet-blue. Natural fluorescence can help a off-colored diamond look like it is a higher grade than it actually does, which is why it is important to identify it.
Ultraviolet (UV) light rays are beyond the spectrum sensitivity of the human eye. Under an artificial ultraviolet light source, many stones fluoresce or give-off light. The intensity and color of the fluorescence will vary with a short or long wavelength of light. This fluorescence is useful in determining the authenticity of stones.

II. How to use FUV-4
1. Put the clear gem into observation box, and then close it
2. Plugged in, switched it on
3. Press the LW button, leave it 2-3seconds later, and turn the LW light on
4. View the color and the strength of gem under long-wave
5. Press the SW button, leave it 2-3seconds later, and make the SW light on
6. View the color and the strength of gem under shortwave
7. The gem can be also put on the table of observation darkroom.
